The Ferragnezs were guests at the «Antica Osteria Magenes», a historic member of Confcommercio Abbiategrasso, for a birthday party for an old friend. «Great availability of the couple and appreciation for the food and wine offer of the restaurant in Barate di Gaggiano», we read in a post on Facebook by Confcommercio. Born from a centenary history of conviviality, worship and processing of the products of our territory, what Arturo, Ernestina, Carlo and Nunzia and more recently mother Mariella Magenes did in the distant past continues today with the brothers Dario and Diego respectively Chef and Maitre of the Antica Osteria Magenes. Passion and talent are the drivers of our daily life.
We have known Dario and Diego Guidi for years, the passion, the effort, the great professionalism of a family (the Magenes, who have linked their name to the Gaggia area of Barate for a very long time) who over the years have created one of the best and most important restaurants of eastern Ticino.
The Magenes in Barate is already worth a Michelin star today (dear Rossa inspectors, we know you have a long time, but it's time to illuminate this part of the province) and is a staple of catering in the Milanese province.

The well-known influencer and the equally well-known rapper enjoyed the dishes of Magenes and willingly accepted to be photographed alongside the brothers who enthusiastically carry forward the history of the restaurant.
A positive injection of popularity for the whole territory: if from nearby Milan the 'Ferragnez' went just beyond Gaggiano, to Morimondo, Abbiategrasso, Robecco, Magenta, in the Ticino valley, they would discover fantastic places (and excellent restaurants).
And if, as it seems, the Zan bill is postponed to September (for us it is excellent news that it is being discussed and changes are being worked on) what can we say... The Ferragnez family will be able to console themselves with Dario's excellent risottos.
