Located in the heart of the Marne Valley, this family-run house stands out for its production of unique Champagnes, an authentic expression of the terroir and artisanal savoir-faire. A place where passion for the land intertwines with the wisdom of expert hands, creating bubbles that enclose the soul of a territory rich in history and traditions.
It is a story of love for one’s land, passed down from generation to generation. A bit like ours.
Arnaud and Sophie, a couple of independent winemakers, have chosen to follow their roots and produce high-quality champagne in the heart of the Champagne region, in Chigny-les-Roses. A small village where time seems to stand still, leaving room for nature and its magic.
Their hands, shaped by work in the vineyards, carefully harvest the grapes, selecting only the best bunches, those that contain the sun, the wind and the passion of a unique terroir.
In the cellar, where the scent of the must blends with that of the ancient wood, Arnaud and Sophie jealously guard the secrets of an artisanal production, made of slow and wise gestures, handed down from father to son.
Their bottles, guardians of a precious nectar, are the fruit of a deep love for the land and for their work. Bubbles that dance in the glass, releasing intense aromas and unforgettable flavors, capable of exciting and giving moments of pure magic.
Like the most beautiful love stories, the one between Enoteca Magenes and Champagne Gounel-Lassalle was born by chance, during the feast of Saint Vincent (the patron saint of winemakers), a feast that we happened to attend by chance… An encounter that immediately made the spark fly, a deep understanding between two entities united by a passion for excellence and the search for unique products, capable of exciting and telling a story.
